Violinist I-Ching Li is the recipient for the “Best Instrumental Performance” and also 2 nominations for “Best Art Music Album” & “Best Album Producer” of the 2020 Golden Melody Awards for the Traditional Arts and Music.
Li is the former Concertmaster of the National Symphony of Taiwan (NSO) and being offered the Professorship of Taipei National University of Arts since 2019.
A native of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Li began her violin studies at age of nine. She has been praised for her depth of insight, virtuosity and creative flair. Her virtuosic performances had gained her top prizes at numerous competitions, both as a soloist and chamber musician.
I-Ching has appeared under the baton of some of the worlds’ premier conductors. She enjoyed having a multifaceted career as soloist, orchestra member, chamber musician, teacher, and most important of all, a Mom.
Being a mother, I-Ching devoted herself on children music education pro- grams. She has co-produced and perform in the NSO Kids Concert series.
After being in the music business for more than a decade. I-Ching decided to devote herself into inspiring the young generations, from the babies to the going-to-be professionals.
